As residents do their part to stay home to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the City is finding a reason to invite them to celebrate the spirit of St. Catharines virtually.
The City of St. Catharines turns 144 on May 1, so we’re challenging residents and businesses to party in place and join us in spirit, safely from their own homes.
“Although birthday parties are different these days, we still have a lot to celebrate as a community. The people of St. Catharines have worked really hard to do their part to stay home during the COVID-19 pandemic, so this a great opportunity to celebrate our community spirit safely from your own home,” said Mayor Walter Sendzik. “We have so much to be proud of and we’re excited to see what our residents will come up with to celebrate our history, heritage, arts and culture, and all the City has to offer.”
